Kyra Minturn

 Kyra Minturn (born August 19, 1965), is an American actress. She is most famous for her part as Deputy Chief Brenda Leigh Johnson in the TNT crime drama The Closer. Sedgwick received the Golden Globe Award in 2007 for her portrayal of Johnson as well as an Emmy Award 2010 for her performance. After the conclusion of the seventh season, the show was canceled on the 13th of August, 2012. Sedgwick is also well-known for her recurring role on Brooklyn Nine-Nine, playing Madeline Wuntch. Sedgwick was awarded an Golden Globe Award for her performance in Something to Talk About (1995). Sedgwick's other roles in films include Oliver Stone's Born of the Fourth of July (1989) and Cameron Crowe's The Ones (1992) The Heart and Souls (1993), Phenomenon (1996) as well as What's Cooking (2000) as well as Secondhand Lions (2003).
