Krystal Marie Ball
Krystal Marie Balm (born on the 24th of November the 24th of November, 1980) is an American journalist and political commentator. She was previously a politician, as well as a TV host on MSNBC and a frequent contributor for The Huffington Post, and the co-host of The Hill's Rising along with Saagar Enjeti. Enjeti and Ball made it clear that they would leave the show in May 2021 and begin Breaking Points, a new independent venture with Krystal and Saagar. Ball co-hosts the podcast Krystal Kyle & Friends with Kyle Kulinski. She has appeared on various networks' programs, including CNN, Fox News, Fox News, CNBC, Fox News, and Real Time alongside Bill Maher. Ball was married to Jonathan Dariyanani as of 2020. Ball says that her renewed political interest to her experiences as a mom in the 2008 primaries. In addition, she witnessed the US elections for president in 2008 while working in Jordan. She was able to see how the outcome affected people in that country and, as a result, became aware of the global impact US politics have on the lives of people around the world. She was a Senior Fellowship of the New Leaders Council. Ball was the Democratic Party nominee in Virginia's 1st Congress District for Congress in 2010, but lost to Rob Wittman, who is the incumbent Republican. From June 2012 to July 2015, she hosted The Cycle, an MSNBC show The Cycle. She created the People's House Project (a political action committee that supports Democratic causes) in May of 2017.
