Catherine Anne

 Catherine Anne O'Hara, OC was born on March 4, 1954. She is a Canadian-American comedian actor, writer, and actress. O'Hara has been awarded numerous prizes including an award from the Genie Award and a Golden Globe Award. O'Hara also won two Screen Actors Guild Awards, two Primetime Emmy Awards, six Canadian Screen Awards, and two Screen Actors Guild Awards. In 2018, she was named as an Officer of Canada. She was also presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Lifetime Artistic Achievement Medal in 2020. O'Hara made her debut as an actress in 1974, when she was in The Second City, an improv comedy group located in Toronto. Dan Aykroyd and John Candy were also part of her main cast in the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). O'Hara began working with Candy on Second City Television's sketch comedy program (1976-1984). O'Hara was acknowledged for her stand-up comedy and writing talents, winning the Primetime Emmy Award of Outstanding Writing for Variety Series in 1981. In 2022, O'Hara was added to the newly formed Second City artistic advisory board which was headed by Stephen Colbert, along with Steve Carell, Dwayne Colbert, Tina Fey, Keegan-Michael Key, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows, Peter Murrieta, Suzy Nakamura Sam Richardson, Jeff Richmond, Jason Sudeikis, and Robin Thede.
